Dracaena fragrans

55,00

Dracaena fragrans is a stately tropical plant with broad, glossy dark-green leaves that arch gracefully downward. Unlike the slender Dracaena marginata, this species has a lush, monumental presence — its wide leaves create a tropical atmosphere all on their own. Native to tropical Africa. It occasionally flowers indoors, producing fragrant white clusters — which is where the name comes from.

Place it in bright indirect light or partial shade — Dracaena fragrans is one of the few large plants that tolerates being kept away from the window. Direct sun scorches the leaves. Water sparingly: every 10–14 days, letting the soil dry out well between waterings. Do not overwater — always empty the saucer. Mist the leaves occasionally during the heating season. Feed once a month from spring through summer.

Brown leaf tips are a sign of dry air, not disease. Lower leaves dropping over time is completely normal. ⚠ Toxic to cats and dogs if eaten.
