Sansevieria Trifasciata

55,00

Sansevieria trifasciata, known as the snake plant or mother-in-law’s tongue, is one of the most undemanding and long-lived houseplants in the world. Its stiff, upright leaves with a distinctive grey-green pattern and yellow border create a clean architectural silhouette in any interior. Native to West Africa. A large specimen is a striking, self-sufficient statement piece that needs no companion plants.

Place it anywhere — sansevieria tolerates both bright light and deep shade, though it grows faster with good light. Water very infrequently: every 2–3 weeks in summer and every 6–8 weeks in winter. This is one of the rare cases where forgetting to water is genuinely not a problem. Overwatering is the only real threat — standing water in the saucer is fatal. Feed once a month from spring through summer with a succulent fertiliser.

Nearly indestructible with minimal care. ⚠ Toxic to cats and dogs if eaten — keep away from pets.
