Ficus Benjamina Green Kinky

5,00

Ficus benjamina ‘Green Kinky’ is a compact, curly-leafed ficus with a dense crown of small, wavy dark-green leaves. Unlike the classic weeping fig, this variety grows more slowly and stays small — perfect for a desk, shelf, or windowsill. Native to the tropical forests of Asia.

Place it in bright indirect light — an east- or west-facing window is ideal. The golden rule: don’t move the pot around — ficus really dislikes a change of environment and will drop its leaves in protest. Water when the top layer of soil has dried out, roughly once a week; less often in winter. During the heating season, mist the leaves or keep a glass of water nearby — dry air causes leaf drop. From spring through summer, feed every two weeks with a foliage plant fertiliser.

⚠ The milky sap is toxic: keep away from children and pets, and wash your hands after handling the plant.
