Asparagus Setaceus “plumosus”

8,00

Asparagus setaceus ‘Plumosus’ is a delicate houseplant with ultra-fine, feathery fronds that resemble a fern or soft plumes. Native to South Africa. It brings a light, airy texture to any interior and looks beautiful both as a standalone plant and alongside other flowers. Florists use this foliage regularly in bouquets — it adds weightlessness and volume to arrangements.

Place it in bright indirect light — asparagus tolerates partial shade well, but grows fuller with good light. Direct sun scorches the delicate fronds. Water regularly: every 5–7 days, never letting the soil dry out completely. During the heating season, mist frequently — dry air causes the needles to yellow and drop. Feed once a month from spring through summer with a foliage plant fertiliser.

Needle drop is a sign of dry air or the soil drying out too much. ⚠ The berries are toxic — keep away from children, cats, and dogs.
